On August 6th 2024 Chris Brown arrived in Los Angeles to perform at his second to last show of the 11:11 Tour. The tour began in Detroit landing in 26 cities starting June 5th and ran until August 7th ending in Los Angeles.
I managed to grab tickets for two different cities. The first in Seattle WA and the second for August 6th in Los Angeles. While I had every intention of attending them both. The universe had other plans and I ended up selling my ticket for the show in Seattle. While I was sad about this at first I came to the conclusion that the universe had its reasons for not wanting me there.
On the Morning of August 6th I woke up, took my time getting ready and then headed out for Los Angeles from Buena Park which is where I was staying. As I drove, I started to get a bit anxious as I'm not a fan I if driving in down town LA where the show would take place. However, as I got closer to the freeway entrance and waiting for the light to turn green, A Giant black and yellow patterned butterfly flew onto my cars windshield and landed. As soon as I saw this I knew this was a sign from the universe that everything was gonna work out just fine. I was aligned and at the right place at the right time.(For those who don't know a butterfly is a sign of good luck, transformation and assurance). After that it was like my anxiety disappeared and I relaxed as I continued to drive towards my parking area which was x only a few minutes from the Crypto Arena the shows venue.
After I had found my parking area and chosen a place to park for remainder of the night I found a whole foods market with its own bar attached and decided to hang out there while I waited for the doors to open at Crypto arena.
I know many people have seen Chris brown in concert over the years since he started but for me this show was particularly special.
I've been his fan since we were 15 years old(we were both born in 1989 and I'm older by thirty five days). While His music is like Ecstasy to me and I always have it on repeat in my car and in my room when I work out and when I shower, the Eleven Eleven albumn helped me go through something personal that I was wrestling with at the time. 11:11 has been the albumn and the number that has helped me heal that brought me back to life that allowed me to feel what I needed to feel. It has been the albumn that stood by my side when no one else did and just like Chris intended it, it has been healing energy on me and my life. I don't think anyone on the planet can understand me and what I had to go through better than Chris brown and his 11:11 albumn.
That being said I also grew up in a very religious home with strict parents and I had to be sneaky about listening to his music growing up because if my parents found out I'd be in trouble that's one of the reasons why I never attended any of his concerts tho I had always dreamed of attending.
To have been able to be here in person at my first Breezy concert was a long time Dream come true and I am incredibly grateful to the Universe for making it happen. Everything aligned perfectly so that I could be here on 8-6-24( I told you 6 is a lucky one for me) ✨️
This tour 11:11, was especially close to my heart because the albumn was everything I needed last year and this year to be able to get through everything I've been through and I know that the only person who could understand is Breezy his music has spoken volumes when I couldnt. The 11:11 albumn has helped me come face to face with healing energy in multiple forms.
I have been seeing 11:11 everywhere and I know its a sign from the universe. I've come a long way and just like the butterfly I have tranformed which leads me back to that day.
Once it was time to head out I followed my GPS on my phone to help me navigate the streets of Downtown LA. After I located the Arena I got in a short line that had begun to form in the shade(it was so hot and the sun was blazing). Shortly after that they started letting people in and I headed to the top of the arena after collecting my white band from the people at the entrance. At the top I explored a bit before taking my seat. I'm not sure why I thought for some reason that Chris would be performing right at 730 I forgot about Muni for a second but I had plenty of time for everything despite the large crowds.
Once I was in my seat, I people watched as the crowds began to find there way to there seats. My row was completely full but to my surprise it was not a sold out show. The row in front of me remained empty the entire duration of the show. I actually really liked the seat I got so I stayed there.
A girl called Maeta started the show at 730pm and I watched her perform. Her voice was beautiful but her music wasn't my cup of tea. Muni long came on next at 8pm and age sang a full set of songs. I knew two of her songs and while her voice was also beautiful, and I do like those two songs the rest of her stuff was also not really my cup of tea so you can imagine how antsy I was to hear Chris perform at that point.
Breezy came on at exactly 9pm and he stated his show with the most epic story line ever based on The for Elements.(Fire, Air, Water and Earth).( When Chris dropped the albumn I didn't really pay attention to the details of what or why he looked the way he did on the cover with all the colors but now that I have been to the show it all makes sense!)
Now if you're not into astrology, this may be a bit confusing for you but basically to Explain it a bit based on your birthday you have a sign and based on that sign you have an Element. For example, I am an Aries(March 30) my Element is fire. The color associated with Fire is most often Red . Chris is a Taurus(May 5) his Element is Earth. The color most often associated with Earth is green. (If you still do not understand google it).
Anyhow, the show started with the four elements pictured on the screens and there was a voice narrating. As we went into the first song, which was 11:11 the Introduction. Or preface for a book if your seeing it that way. Once Chris had finished singing the first song the voice began to narrate again and it brought us into Act 1: Fire🔥 the stage lit up with flames and Chris began to sing all the songs he had written for that specific element. For fire theses songs were Go girlfriend, Go crazy, Ayo, New flame, party, Freak, and you like that. Once he had performed those songs the voice narrating came back to introduce Act 2: Water 💧 the stage lit up in blue and there was water rain and the ocean both up on the screens as Chris began to sing Water songs which consisted of : Delusional, privacy, bruce lee, feel something, Indigo, Idgaf, wet the bed. It was during this part of the show that Chris began to walk into the crowd lifted by ropes to sing in a different part of the arena( I got all my close ups in photos during this part) which was really cool to see. Once he had finished the songs, the narrating voice returned once again to introduce Act 3: Air 💨 during this act Chris performed the following songs: Residuals, under the influence, press me, she ain't you, strip don't judge me, shooter and no air. For me this was the most difficult act to watch him perform because it really hit home and I was tearing up during don't judge me and Residuals. I have never danced or sang in public like that ever and I'm surprised with how vulnerable I was able to be in a public setting that felt like well home. People were so incredibly kind and welcoming and it felt so right. Once Chris had finished singing those songs . The narrating voice came on one last time and introduced the final Act. ACT 4: Earth, during this act Chris sang the following: Sensational, no guidance, yeah 3x, with you, summer too hot, loyal, natural disaster, midnight freak and the grass ain't greener.
During the entire duration of the show my white band handed to me at the beginning would light up and glow the color of the Element I was dancing to which was incredibly cool and learning which songs went with with Element was pretty cool too but also let's be real as a fire element I wasn't surprised at any in my act because those are all my favorites 😂🔥✨️🖤
After the last song had been sung Chris thanked everyone for coming out by bowing with his dancers and his two daughters Royalty and Lovely brown who had also been watching the show that night. By the time it ended it was exactly 11:11pm on 8/6.
This show was the best show/concert I have even been to in my entire life and I will never forget it. I am incredibly grateful and I can't wait until his next show. I will always be Team Breezy for life. 💜✨️
